New venue: Dumbleton Hall Hotel, Nr Evesham, Worcestershire

Our Rose's Harmony Event moves to an exciting new venue: Dumbleton Hall Hotel, which is a truly magnificent traditional Manor House with fabulous interior features set in 19 acres of stunning gardens, including woodland and a lake. It is situated in the beautiful Cotswolds countryside just 7 miles from Evesham on the border between Worcestershire and Gloucestershire with the larger historic towns of Cheltenham, Stratford-upon-Avon and Worcester all within 20miles.
For the 30th year of events organised by Martine Rose, our move to a new venue has been prompted by a change in ownership of the hotel we had been using in Scarborough for the last seven years. But having visited Dumbleton Hall, we are particularly excited by the new venue and are convinced anyone who joins us in October will be so also.
Because the Dumbleton Hall Hotel is extremely popular with weekend weddings booked over a year ahead throughout the year, our ‘Dumbleton Days’ will be for 2 or 3 nights starting on Sunday, leaving Tuesday or Wednesday.

Some of the above is subject to confirmation and the scheduling may vary. A full programme will be released nearer the date. We would appreciate any offers of anything you might be able to do to provide some sort of service or entertainment for our proceedings. A singer/pianist (there ia a piano) for Tuesday evening would be most welcome.
The dinners for Sunday and Monday evenings will be in the main banqueting room with large round tables. This room also has a dance floor and is where we will have our band and disco. The dinner for Tuesday evening will be in the main Cedar Room restaurant.
Number of nights:
The Tuesday night is optional. All the main events will be on the Sunday and Monday nights. However we expect many of our guests will like to have the extra day to chill out and relax in the wonderful ambience of Dumbleton Hall and its grounds or visit places of interest in the area.

The total cost includes bed and breakfast, evening meals, entertainments (disco, etc.), and administration charges.
The deposit (non-refundable) is payable upon booking.
The balance of payment must be paid by 1st September, 2018. A reminder will be sent about two weeks before this.
Cancellations: Once the hotel has received full payment, it may only be refundable if the place can be refilled.
SUPPLEMENTS PER ROOM PER NIGHT
Single room: £10 (but there are only two) Sorry, no singles left
Single occupancy of a standard double/twin room: £20
Superior Rooms: £20 (double or family rooms only)
Feature Rooms: £25 (two double rooms only)
Late Bookings: £20 (after 10th August)
If we haven’t allocated all rooms by the middle of August, we have to release back to the hotel any free rooms and these will be made available to other guests. Therefore if we have not filled all the rooms by 10th August and we get any further bookings after that date, we will have to negotiate with the hotel the availability of any remaining rooms. Hence the late bookings supplement.
All rooms are located on the 2nd or 3rd floor (lift available) and are en-suite with shower and/or bath. They all include complimentary toiletries, hospitality tray, internal and direct dial telephone, flat-screen TV and hair-dryer.
Superior Rooms have a high degree of comfort and elegant modern styling and also have an Espresso coffee maker, a mini-cooler with bottled water and executive toiletries.
Feature Rooms: There are just two feature rooms which are larger with a sitting area and one of them has a four-poster bed. They also have a safe.
If you are coming alone, rather than select a single room or single occupancy, you might like to consider sharing a twin-bedded room with another. Not only will this save you the cost of the supplement, many first-timers take this option as having a room mate can be very helpful. If you don’t have anyone in mind, we may be able to allocate someone.
